I haven't blogged in quite awhile, the "doing" part of the creative "from nearly nothing" part has been a bit lacking. It is not for lack of stuff in my head, but lack of time. I did want to upload this recent project we did for our granddaughter. I got the inspiration from her IKEA button rug and with the help of my husband, it turned out pretty cool. Total cost for all three buttons and paint, probably around $30.00.
We began with three disks from Home Depot, then the center edging was cut and the holes drilled.
Next, I painted them colors that matched the rug.
I found this great multicolored yarn for the thread in the button holes.
And then we mounted them on her wall.
